TCF Canada Victoria Exam Centres (Alliance Française) — 1 Centres 2026
Victoria, BC's island capital, runs two accredited TCF Canada venues. Alliance française de Victoria (listed by France Éducation International as Alliance française Canada Pacific – Victoria) sits downtown at 1218 Langley Street and administers computer-based sessions at CAD $390 — most months offer one or more sittings, and popular windows sell out fast (the October 2026 dates filled within weeks of registration opening), so book as soon as a window opens. The University of Victoria's Department of French (Clearihue Building) adds paper-based sessions on a sparser calendar — none June-September 2026, with the next sitting in October. Candidates are mostly Island-based Express Entry French-language-category applicants and BC PNP candidates who spare themselves the ferry to Vancouver.
Sessions & Fees
AF Victoria (1218 Langley Street) runs computer-based sessions at CAD $390 (all four components, same day) — one or more sittings most months, but seats often sell out within the registration window (which opens about 2 months ahead; the October 2026 sittings filled during the Aug 18-Sep 15 window), so book the moment a window opens. The University of Victoria's Department of French (Clearihue Building) offers paper-based sessions on a sparser calendar: none June-September 2026, resuming in October — see its Continuing Studies page for dates.
Immigration Pathway Details
Victoria candidates share the same BC routes as Vancouver: the federal Express Entry French-language category — NCLC 7+ (TCF Canada B2) in all four skills enters dedicated draws whose cut-offs sit well below the general rounds, while second-language French adds up to 50 CRS points — and the BCPNP skilled-worker and international-graduate streams, which also accept TCF Canada results. Island job-seekers targeting bilingual federal maritime / defence positions benefit from the credential as well.
